In the app
Open Profile, scroll to the bottom, and choose Delete my account, then confirm. It happens at once — there is no waiting period — and it cannot be undone.
Without the app
Write to privacy@wanderland.dating and say you want your account deleted. We then write to the email address on your account, and delete it by hand once you reply from there to confirm. If you signed up with Apple and chose to hide your email, our message reaches you through Apple’s relay in the usual way, so you can confirm from there. We never delete an account on a name alone.
Uninstalling the app does not delete your account.
What is deleted
- Your profile, photos, plans and About Me answers.
- Your matches, dates and conversations, and anything you sent in them.
- Your preferences, location and where you were on the islands.
- Your sign-in. Your email is freed, so you could sign up again later as somebody new.
- The copy of your chats saved on your phone — and on any other phone you were signed in on, the next time the app is opened there.
What is kept
Safety reports, indefinitely. A report is somebody else’s account of something that happened to them, so it survives the deletion of either person’s account — but the link to whoever left is removed, and nothing identifying is kept in its place.
