Our standards
Wanderland has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). That includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, and any sexual content involving anyone under 18. Anyone who shares, asks for or promotes it is removed from Wanderland and reported to the authorities.
Adults only
You have to be 18 or over to use Wanderland. Your date of birth is checked when you sign up and checked again on our server, and an account found to belong to someone under 18 is removed.
How to report it
In the app, in your date with someone, tap ⋮ at the top and choose Report or block. To report one message, press and hold it. An Island Note has its own report button. A report keeps a copy of what was said, and it is kept even if either account is later deleted.
You can also write to privacy@wanderland.dating, with or without the app.
If a child is in immediate danger, call the police first: 999 in the UK. You can also report to the National Crime Agency’s CEOP, and report images of child sexual abuse to the Internet Watch Foundation.
What we do
Reports about a child’s safety are read first. When we learn of abuse or exploitation on Wanderland, we:
- Remove the account straight away. The person disappears from the maps, their conversations close and their Island Note comes down.
- Keep the evidence, so it can be handed to the police.
- Report it to the National Crime Agency, and report child sexual abuse images to the Internet Watch Foundation.
We comply with the child safety laws that apply to us, including the UK’s Online Safety Act 2023.
